About the Journal

Asia Africa Regulatory Development Review (AARDR) is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published by ASTA Research Center. It is issued two times a year (July and December) and serves as an international academic platform for cross-regional research on regulatory and policy development in Asia and Africa. We accept manuscripts written in both English and French.

AARDR covers a broad spectrum of topics related to governance, policy, and regulatory frameworks, with a particular focus on emerging issues and contemporary challenges in Asia and Africa. The journal addresses various topics including, but not limited to, economic development, trade and investment policies, digital transformation, public health governance, environmental sustainability, infrastructure regulation, financial inclusion, and social justice. It aims to provide critical insights into how regulatory mechanisms adapt to the evolving political, economic, and technological landscapes of the two regions.

The journal welcomes contributions from scholars, practitioners, and policymakers engaged in regulatory and policy studies. Priority is given to research that provides fresh perspectives on current and pressing regulatory challenges. Manuscripts that do not adhere to submission guidelines or deviate from the prescribed format may be rejected before the review process. All submissions must be made through the OJS system.
